Job summary

J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a production supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will execute the production plan, assign tasks, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while coordinating with other departments to meet production goals. A flexible schedule may be required and travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree or at least two years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of production equipment, power tools, hand tools, tape measures and electrical tools.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of LPCS/JDE
• Problem solving skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees in a production environment and executes the Production Plan.
• Assigns work and enforces policies to improve production methods.
• Monitors and improves production efficiency, output, quality and safety.
• Provides training and leadership to achieve goals.
• Communicates production status with other departments.
• Ensures resources are available for employees to perform their jobs.
