Job summary

Signode is seeking a Production Supervisor III to oversee manufacturing operations, guide a team of production operators, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. You will sponsor continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and drive performance in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires 5–7 years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in supervision, strong math skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Lead and motivate production teams; foster a collaborative environment.
• Allocate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and timely output.
• Coordinate with Plant/Operations Manager on production activities.
• Collaborate with quality control to maintain product quality.
• Implement quality controls and process improvements.
• Train and develop production staff; support ongoing training.
• Ensure safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Collaborate with materials management to ensure material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels to support production needs.
• Address production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of production activities and incidents.
• Communicate goals and expectations to the team.
• Oversee performance reviews, onboarding, and attendance.
• Assist with hiring and manage attendance/vacations.
