Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years leading manufacturing test engineering.
• Expertise in Linux, C#, Python, and NixOS.
• Experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and testing standards.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment.
• Strong root-cause analysis for non-conforming hardware.
• Familiar with PLM, MES, and TES systems.
• Security clearance: Active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives, guide initiatives, and assess outcomes.
• Architect and oversee test strategy for scalable production across products.
• Advance automation, uniformity, and operational efficiency in testing.
• Evaluate test data, identify product and process improvements.
• Communicate vision to stakeholders; scale from LRIP to FRP.
• Collaborate with product development for testability and production integration.
• Lead procurement and implementation of new test equipment with ROI analyses.
• Drive initiatives that improve safety, reduce costs, and raise quality.
• Foster innovation, collaboration, and accountability in the engineering org.
• Serve as technical authority on manufacturing test; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Design maintenance/calibration protocols for test equipment.
