Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the assigned department. You will ensure lead associates are trained and understand the processes, maintain records and inventory, comply with HACCP requirements, and coordinate planning and communication with other departments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in the food industry with supervisory experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, HACCP certification, knowledge of USDA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; knowledge within the food industry considered equivalent.
• HACCP certification required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• USDA regulations knowledge preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate/Coordinate/Supervise department’s daily objectives.
• Train lead persons in all job requirements including supervisory responsibilities.
• Ensure that all employees in the department are trained and understand the process.
• Confer with Management and employees on departmental problems, and recommend changes or work practices to improve department standards.
• Compiles required reports.
• Documents steps taken to resolve deficiencies.
• Completes daily timesheets and scheduled time off for employees.
• Ensures that employees adhere to company policies and work rules.
• Conducts employee evaluations as scheduled.
• Conducts disciplinary actions of department employees in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
• Represents Department at company meetings, functions and/or activities.
