Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Lead Person to run a designated production area efficiently and safely. You will interpret daily schedules, communicate with operators, and supervise inventory accuracy in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in a manufacturing/food production environment.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Lift and move 50–75 pounds with assistance when required.
• Available Monday–Friday with weekend production needs; forklift/tow motor experience; Oracle systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by department supervisor/manager.
• Operate and help maintain equipment within the area.
• Report problems and recommend efficiency improvements to the supervisor.
• Assist with on-the-job training and development of other employees.
• Assist supervisor in recognizing problems and coaching staff.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, safety rules and company policies.
• Follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Verify order/invoice accuracy, complete cycle counts and inventory controls.
• Strive to satisfy internal and external customers.
