Qualifications

• 5 years of front line supervisory experience in a line manufacturing role.
• Experience with stainless steel and specialty alloys desirable.
• Understanding of basic machinery (forklifts, bandsaws, straightening machines, etc).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, environmental and quality policies are understood and followed by all employees and contractors.
• Determine product quality per customer requirements and decide material disposition.
• Establish and enforce first-class housekeeping standards.
• Plan and operate manufacturing processes to meet schedules and deliver on customer commitments.
• Maximize yields at lowest cost within established schedules and quality standards.
• Review production reports and resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems cost-effectively.
• Develop and revise standard operating practices to ensure compliance with quality standards and order requirements.
• Train department personnel.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis to determine failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and control systems to safely and cost-effectively produce quality products.
