Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our team at the Pennsylvania Modification Center in Mechanicsburg.

You will supervise motor modification production, assign tasks, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements while ensuring compliance with regulations and certifications. The role requires 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years in motor construction/modifications or gearbox assembly, plus knowledge of SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3 years' supervisory experience
• 5 years' experience in production of electric motor construction/modifications and/or gearbox assembly or comparable
• Flexible leadership and delegation skills
• Strong familiarity with safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjust team workload
• Provide tools, training, and standardized processes
• Coordinate with other departments for workflow
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Conduct interviews, hiring and training as needed
• Maintain clean, organized production areas
• Drive process improvements and track performance
• Coordinate training plans for team members
• Ensure materials and tools meet delivery schedules
• Participate in department meetings to discuss scheduling and quality
