Job summary

Connecticut Spring & Stamping, Farmington, CT, is seeking a Full Time First Mid Manager to optimize daily operations and drive production performance.

The role oversees production schedules, quality, safety, and team performance, providing guidance to supervisors and coordinating with upper management to meet delivery dates. Responsibilities include staffing decisions, training, performance reviews, and implementing process improvements to minimize defects and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Two to five years of direct related experience, with at least two years’ experience as a supervisor and/or leader.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• High energy level, self-starter good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
• Resourceful and well organized.
• Participative management style - advocate of team concept.
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive
• Ability to recognize and support the organization’s preference and priorities.
• Results and people oriented, external and internal service orientated.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

• Supervise production activities and ensure schedules are met.
• Ensure product quality and maintain documentation to quality standards.
• Review labor and machine efficiency and material utilization.
• Serve as primary point of contact between team and upper management.
• Define objectives and make staffing decisions to meet production schedules.
• Provide daily guidance and set performance expectations.
• Conduct monthly department Quality and Safety meetings.
• Maintain attendance and performance records and participate in hiring.
