Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned employees and ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and company policies.
  • Understand and manage production schedules to meet customer timelines.
  • Conduct personnel functions: interviewing, selection, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions; focus on PTO and employee development.
  • Oversee all processes, equipment, employees, safety and housekeeping.
  • Maintain knowledge of all processes and equipment or know who to contact for information.
  • Troubleshoot problems with jobs/equipment and coordinate with other departments for resolution.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate production with other shifts for a smooth transition.

  • Responsible for the supervision of assigned employees and ensures compliance with all quality standards, customer specifications, and company policies.
  • Understand and manage the schedules and production to meet customer schedules.
  • Administers the personnel functions for the department. This includes interviewing and selection of personnel, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action. Focus on UTL and Employee development.
  • Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety and housekeeping.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment or knows who to contact for information.
  • Anticipates and trouble shoots problems with jobs and/or equipment and coordinates with other departments for resolution.
  • Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations and procedures are followed.
  • Coordinates production efforts with supervisors on other shifts for smooth transition.
  • Ensures that all equipment is operational and maintained per specifications.
  • Screen, interview, select and onboard new hires, conduct performance appraisals, coach and council employees.
  • Champion BES/lean measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing environment
