Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the Day Shift to lead aseptic manufacturing operations.

You will oversee production teams, schedules, safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement while building a high-performance culture.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years supervisory, and prefers a Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering; strong leadership, problem-solving, and GMP/GFSI compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food, process, high-speed packaging, or Form-Fill-Seal environments.
• 2+ years of supervisory, management, or team-lead experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of aseptic processes/equipment.
• Experience with ERP/HMI systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and manage production employees.
• Coordinate production schedules, startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Monitor workflow, output, product quality, OEE, and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and resolve production issues.
• Lead shift huddles and ensure effective communication across teams.
• Promote and enforce Safety, Quality, GMP, GFSI, and company standards.
• Participate in safety and quality audits and corrective actions.
• Conduct accident and near-miss investigations.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and engagement.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of aseptic processes/equipment
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/HMI systems
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Strongly Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Demonstrated success driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills
