Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead night shift operations in a fast-paced aseptic facility. You will oversee production teams, schedules, safety, quality, and continuous improvement while building a high-performance culture.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of aseptic processes and ERP/HMI systems. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably food, process, high-speed packaging, or Form-Fill-Seal.
• 2+ years of supervisory, management, or team-lead experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of aseptic processes/equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/HMI systems.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Demonstrated success driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and manage production employees.
• Coordinate production schedules, startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Monitor workflow, output, product quality, OEE, and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and resolve production issues
• Lead shift huddles and ensure effective communication across teams
• Promote and enforce Safety, Quality, GMP, GFSI, and company standards
• Participate in safety and quality audits and corrective actions
• Conduct accident and near-miss investigations
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and engagement
• Maintain strong technical knowledge of production equipment and aseptic processes
