Job summary

Rinker Materials in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure efficient concrete production across assigned areas such as box culvert, pre-stress, pipe and wet cast. You will supervise staff, manage production schedules, monitor equipment maintenance, and coordinate raw material deliveries while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience in concrete production and an undergraduate degree; travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience including team building, facilitation, mentoring and follow-through.
• Knowledge of production management in the concrete industry or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure and shipping and fulfillment.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and professional conduct.
• Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel 5-10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient concrete production.
• Monitor equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams.
• Coordinates raw material deliveries, maintains inventory, and optimizes production processes.
• Effective communication with team members, management, and other departments is essential for seamless plant operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
