Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily concrete production at our Doswell, VA plant. You will manage schedules, supervise staff, and enforce safety protocols to meet specifications and customer expectations.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Office tools. Undergraduate degree is preferred, with occasional travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience including team leadership and follow-through.
• Knowledge of production management in the concrete industry or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, and manuals.
• General computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient concrete production.
• Manages production schedules, supervises staff, and enforces safety protocols.
• Monitors equipment maintenance, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates with maintenance teams.
• Coordinates raw material deliveries, maintains inventory, and optimizes production processes.
• Effective communication with team members, management, and other departments.
