Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead plant staff in meeting daily production plans for box culvert, pre-stress, pipe and wet cast. You will coordinate with plant manager, sales, engineering, and scheduling to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of concrete production, and strong communication. Travel up to 10% and a valid driver’s license may be required. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience including team building, facilitation, mentoring and follow-through.
• Knowledge of production management in the concrete industry or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure and shipping and fulfillment.
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels and provide clear verbal instructions.
• Proven ability to lead a team with problem solving and cost awareness.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook and databases.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 5-10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient concrete production.
• Manage production schedules, supervise staff, and enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and troubleshoot with maintenance teams.
• Coordinate raw material deliveries, maintain inventory and optimize processes.
• Communicate effectively with team, management and other departments.
