Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily concrete production and supervise plant staff in Harrisburg, NC. You will coordinate production schedules, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with maintenance and planning teams to meet customer specs.

The role requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of concrete production, and the ability to read plans and manage materials. Valid driver’s license and travel of 5–10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience including team building, facilitation, mentoring and follow-through.
• Knowledge of production management in the concrete industry or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure and shipping and fulfillment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide direction, develop and lead a team, provide strategic direction, and inspire the team to achieve key goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient concrete production. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, supervising staff, and enforcing safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams.
• Coordinates raw material deliveries, maintains inventory, and optimizes production processes.
• Effective communication with team members, management, and other departments is essential for seamless plant operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
