Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Arils 2nd Shift to lead a cross‑functional team in juice and arils processing, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time production. You will implement SOPs, drive improvements, coordinate maintenance, and manage inventory while partnering with QA, maintenance and logistics to meet daily targets.

The role requires 2–4 years of supervisory production experience, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and proficiency in MS Office and Oracle.

Job description

Production Supervisor - Arils 2nd Shift

The Production Supervisor will be trained and assigned on a rotational schedule to support and lead key operational areas Juice processing, Arils processing and Sanitation. Working across these functions, the supervisor will collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to validate Standard Work Sequences (SWS), drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), prevent over‑production, and uphold high standards of product integrity, safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of production workers, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback, including engaging in corrective action conversations, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Strategically plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet set targets and deadlines, including strict adherence to established production centerlines.
  • Foster collaboration with cross‑functional teams such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Enforce and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Arils manufacturing processes, ensuring uniformity and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor and uphold the functionality of equipment, proactively initiating maintenance or repairs as necessary.
  • Effectively manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to guarantee uninterrupted production.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, cultivating a safety‑aware culture within the production team, and collaborating with the Quality control team to ensure production of high‑quality products.
  • Observe and enforce safety, GMPs, and Food safety programs and attend appropriate training sessions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency in the production process.
  • Maintain precise production records and reports for upper‑management review regarding comprehensive performance tracking and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Manage the Arils facility FMDS board and conduct daily meetings.
  • Collaborate with the sanitation lead to identify key cleaning areas and implement enhancements to sanitation procedures.
  • Assess required workforce and develop a labor model aligned with production requirements.
Education & Experience

At least 2‑4 years progressively responsible Production experience in a supervisory capacity, with a specific emphasis in manufacturing preferably within a production/manufacturing setting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
