Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment, LLC is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Syracuse, NY area. You will manage 20+ production associates and 3 team leads, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved. This is a direct hire opportunity.

You will monitor KPIs and scoreboards, lead production meetings, and drive 5S and continuous improvement. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BS or AAS degree and multiple years of experience as a Production Supervisor within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Well-organized and focused on completing tasks.
• Basic machine operation and machine capability knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 20+ production associates and 3 team leads to meet Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals.
• Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators and Scoreboards.
• Improve production areas through training, troubleshooting, and 5S initiatives.
• Lead production meetings and discuss priorities.
• Complete reports for upper management.
