Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a 1st shift Production Supervisor in Syracuse, NY. You will directly oversee 20+ production associates and 3 team leads to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

The role requires a BS or AAS degree with significant supervisory experience in manufacturing. Candidates should be well-organized with basic machine operation knowledge and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• BS or AAS degree and multiple years of experience as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Well-organized and focused on completing tasks.
• Basic machine operation and machine capability knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 20+ production associates and 3 team leads to meet Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals.
• Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators and Scoreboards.
• Improve production area performance through training, troubleshooting, and 5S initiatives.
• Lead production meetings and discuss priorities.
• Complete reports for upper management.
