Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to directly supervise production staff on the 3rd shift and drive productivity across assigned lines.

You will plan, assign and direct work, address employee concerns, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, entering production data in ERP, training staff, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate degree in operations management, or equivalent experience.
• One to three years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient with ERP solutions, SAP preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization, attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, coach, influence and retain a team.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.
• Plan, assign and direct work; resolve product and employee concerns.
• Coordinate and communicate production schedules; estimate worker hour requirements.
• Enter production data and generate reports in the ERP system (OEEs, downtime, volumes).
• Train employees on production and equipment standards; monitor performance.
• Identify root causes and drive preventive measures using CI methods.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet performance objectives.
