Qualifications

Responsibilities

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year + Bonus (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Plan, direct, and supervise daily plant production activities to meet customer demand and delivery targets.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Conduct root‑cause investigations for safety incidents and implement corrective action promptly.
• Team Development: Coach, mentor, and hold crew members accountable. Recognize team achievements and build a collaborative workplace culture.
• Continuous Improvement: Work alongside engineers, maintenance staff, and operators to eliminate bottlenecks, minimize downtime, reduce waste, and track KPIs.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Maintenance, Packaging, Shipping, and Customer Service to streamline operations and ensure on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience: Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (4+ years preferred; background in manufacturing, operations, or transportation welcome).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Mining, or a related field preferred.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Strong problem‑solving abilities (process, mechanical, and interpersonal).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid computer proficiency and experience tracking performance data/KPIs.
