Job summary

CD is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor for the 10PM–6AM third shift at our Rock Hill, SC facility. You will oversee daily production, coordinate workflow, enforce safety and quality standards, and provide hands-on support to resolve operational issues with a hands-on leadership style.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation and quality control.
• OSHA regulations and safety procedures familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all production activities and personnel for the assigned shift to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards, company policies, and safety regulations, including OSHA.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager and other Shift Supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous workflow.
• Conduct regular safety briefings, on-the-job training, and performance feedback sessions for team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or equipment malfunctions, escalating major issues as needed.
• Manage employee timekeeping, breaks, and coverage to maintain staffing levels and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and shift reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all production activities and personnel for the assigned shift to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards, company policies, and safety regulations, including OSHA.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager and other Shift Supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous workflow.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control principles.
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and time management.
• Working knowledge of industrial safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
