Sanimax is hiring a Third Shift Production Supervisor at our South St. Paul site. Base pay ranges from $75,000 to $94,000 with bonus potential up to 10%. The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, and supervising the raw materials flow to support efficient production.

Responsibilities include safety program administration, staff development, performance reviews, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. Candidates with leadership experience in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and supervising a production team.

• Operate boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment efficiently.
• Generate an annual operations budget for production labor.
• Maintain fleet, facilities, and grounds per safety and environmental rules.
• Coordinate inspections with Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production operations by empowering and motivating employees to function as a team in the areas of receiving, unloading and processing of raw materials to accomplish the company’s objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
• Maintain a highly trained and motivated work force
• Complete individual performance evaluations
• Ensure that all equipment including the boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated in an efficient manner
• Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
• Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
• In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Preferred Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment
