Job summary

Sanimax is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for our South St. Paul site, working Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm. Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $94,000 with a bonus potential up to 10% and a 3% quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety initiatives and programs are being carried out.
  • Maintain a highly trained and motivated workforce.
  • Complete individual performance evaluations.
  • Ensure equipment such as boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated efficiently.
  • Generate an annual operations budget for production labor.
  • Ensure facilities, fleet, and grounds meet safety and environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections with Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager.

Job description

Sanimax is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in our South St. Paul location. Schedule is Monday‑Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm.

Position Purpose

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production operations by empowering and motivating employees to function as a team in the areas of receiving, unloading and processing of raw materials to accomplish the company’s objectives.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties
  • Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
  • Maintain a highly trained and motivated workforce
  • Complete individual performance evaluations
  • Ensure that all equipment including the boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated in an efficient manner
  • Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
  • Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
  • In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required

Minimum Qualifications
