Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a people-focused manufacturing leader for the Production Supervisor, 3rd Shift to guide overnight operations, drive safety, quality, productivity, and team engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience with supervisory or team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality control principles, and workplace safety.
• Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work overnight/3rd shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production operators during the overnight shift.
• Plan, organize, and monitor production activities to meet safety, quality, and output targets.
• Support employee training, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
• Identify and resolve production issues, equipment concerns, and process inefficiencies.
• Conduct routine inspections of production lines and equipment to maintain operational excellence.
• Ensure accurate production reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other shifts to support seamless production transitions.

Your Background

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

• 3+ years of manufacturing or production experience, including supervisory or team leadership experience.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality control principles, and workplace safety practices.

• Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and willingness to work overnight/3rd shift schedules.
