Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in inventory control, warehouse, or materials management, including leadership or lead experience.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support 3rd shift inventory team members to achieve safety, quality, and operational goals.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory activities to maintain accurate inventory records.

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Inventory Lead, 3rd Shift to oversee overnight inventory and material flow activities that support production success. In this role, you will lead a small team while ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be a key contributor to operational excellence by coordinating inventory transactions, conducting audits and cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. How You'll Make an Impact

Your Background

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience, including leadership or lead experience.

Experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy processes.

Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification, with experience operating material handling equipment.

Strong communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on an overnight shift.
