Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Production Supervisor on 2nd shift to lead a manufacturing team, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and champion waste reduction and sustainability goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in supervision, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and a proven ability to develop talent, manage performance, and optimize daily production activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant manufacturing experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years’ experience with a minimum 3 years’ experience working in a supervisory position.
• Strong background in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required, with some knowledge of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive company to achieve goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating flow of production.
• Effectively manage labor to meet plant labor productivity & cost goals by coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequence
• Monitor production activities, identify problems, and troubleshoot causes to develop solutions
• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, communicating them to employees to ensure alignment
• Create, train, monitor, and evaluate team on safety, quality and standard operating procedures.
