Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • Strong background in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required; knowledge of Word/PowerPoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating flow of production.
  • Effectively manage labor to meet plant productivity and cost goals by coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequence.
  • Monitor production activities, identify problems, and troubleshoot causes to develop solutions.
  • Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, communicating them to employees to ensure alignment.
  • Create, train, monitor, and evaluate team on safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
  • Document and maintain up-to-date training for all existing and new production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot processing techniques and production machinery and provide solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Accurately record, communicate, and maintain required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and submit daily reports on performance and progress related to production, quality, safety, staffing, and regular maintenance duties.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation with a results-driven approach.
  • Prioritize workload effectively.
  • Display strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant manufacturing experience
High School diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position
Strong background in manufacturing

Summary of Job

The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising activities of a production team and shift/department. The role requires at least 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team in a manufacturing environment. The supervisor ensures that safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards are achieved while meeting waste reduction and sustainability goals. The individual will create a culture of integrity, customer focus, innovation, and collaboration, attract and develop top talent, and oversee all people‑leadership functions, including interviewing, selection, and performance management.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs).
  • Frequent typing/keyboarding/preparing documents, voice‑assisted as needed.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant manufacturing experience required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • Strong background in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required; knowledge of Word/PowerPoint is a plus.
Compensation

Base Pay: The estimated annualized base pay range for this role is $80,000–$100,000. Actual base pay may vary based on performance, proficiency, and demonstrated competencies.
