Job summary

Nestlé Health Science in Bohemia, NY seeks a Production Supervisor to ensure safety, product quality, and asset performance while meeting the production plan. You will lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Responsibilities include enforcing SOPs/SSOPs, coaching staff, coordinating with other teams on site, and delivering results through KPI-driven leadership on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with training on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience; 2–3 years lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have 2–3 years leadership in a production environment.
• Strong focus on safety and SOP adherence.
• Experience with GMPs, QA checks, and sanitation audits.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams; ERP, SAP familiarity a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement people development plans and verify team competencies per project manager guidance.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure SOP/SSOP compliance across positions.
• Achieve quality objectives, perform GMP adherence, sanitation checks, and product inspections.
• Coach employees using NCE approach and address skill gaps through training.
• Review daily targets, address deviations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain line controls, enforce regulatory compliance, and manage industrial relations.
• Ensure timely product launches, coordinate with quality, engineering, and admin for maintenance.
