Tom Trese is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at the Jefferson, WI facility. This 100% onsite role runs 1:30 PM–11:30 PM, leads a production crew, and ensures safety, quality, and on-time targets in a regulated food environment.

You will champion lean improvements, coordinate raw material flow, manage shift handoffs, mentor staff, and uphold GMPs, HACCP, and SQF standards, with earning potential up to $75,000 base plus overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable leadership experience supervising production lines in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP and SQF requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or ERP systems for scheduling and reporting.
• Proximity to Jefferson, WI within 45-minute commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and motivate an off-shift production crew, managing daily line assignments and optimizing headcount for efficiency.
• Coordinate raw ingredient delivery and resource allocation to streamline material flow and consistently achieve daily throughput targets.
• Uphold stringent food safety protocols and regulatory benchmarks, maintaining GMPs, HACCP, and SQF guidelines.
• Initiate lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects to eliminate line bottlenecks and improve OEE.
• Manage shift handoffs, acting as the primary liaison between 1st and 2nd shift teams.
• Handle administrative duties, including labor tracking logs, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and daily metric reporting.

Up to $75,000 Base + Premium Saturday Overtime & Bonuses, Greater Jefferson, WI Area, 100% Onsite

• SCHEDULE: Consistent 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday (1:30 PM – 11:30 PM) with occasional Saturday production
• EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of proven supervisory or line leadership experience inside food manufacturing or regulated packaging
• COMPLIANCE & SAFETY: Deep familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), strict quality standards, and HACCP/SQF protocols
• EARNING POTENTIAL: Up to $75,000 base salary + time-and-a-half Saturday premiums + performance-based annual bonus
• REQUIREMENTS: US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a comfortable 45-minute daily commute of Jefferson, WI

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

• 3+ years of verifiable leadership experience supervising production lines, blending operations, or packaging teams in a regulated environment.
• Strong foundational understanding of food safety standards, GMP compliance, and quality operations (HACCP/SQF experience preferred).
• Collaborative communication style with a proven ability to mentor teams, de-escalate floor friction, and build a positive workplace culture.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or localized ERP systems for scheduling and performance reporting.
• Strong Plus: Prior experience managing workflows and leading teams within a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Proximity to the plant, with established residence within a dependable 45-minute daily commuting distance of the Greater Jefferson, WI area.
