Westminster Cracker Company has been baking in Vermont since 1828. Our oysters and saltines are made from seven simple ingredients by a team of about 80 people who take real pride in what comes out of the plant. We're hiring a Production Supervisor to run one of our shifts.
The Production Supervisor manages all production activity on the assigned shift and is responsible for its output, quality, food safety, safety, and people. You'll direct the hourly team, set staffing and station assignments, and make the day-to-day production decisions within the shift's plan.
Must-haves:
You'll spend most of the shift on your feet on the production floor, with short stretches at a desk. Expect machinery noise, seasonal temperature swings, flour dust, and the PPE that comes with a food plant (hairnet, hearing protection, slip‑resistant shoes). Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs when you step in to cover a gap.
