Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Tulsa, OK, to lead a team of skilled workers, drive production schedules, and maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.

You will partner with the Production Manager to plan and execute production activities, ensure raw materials and finished goods meet specifications, and deliver timely production reports including performance metrics and quality data to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related subject or equivalent work experience.

• Leads a team of skilled workers to meet production schedules.
• Collaborates with the production manager to develop and execute production activities in a safe working environment.
• Follows quality controls and procedures to ensure raw material and finished goods meet product specifications.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment and promptly addresses safety concerns.
• Prepares and maintains production reports, including performance metrics, production output, and quality data, and provides regular updates to management.

What you will do:

• Responsible for leading a team of skilled workers to meet production schedules.
• Collaborates with the production manager to develop and execute production activities in a safe working environment.
• Follows quality controls and procedures to ensure that raw material and finished goods comply with product specifications.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment and promptly addresses any safety concerns.
• Prepares and maintains production reports, including performance metrics, production output, and quality data, and provides regular updates to management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related subject or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment with 4+ years of experience in a supervisory role is necessary.
• Acts independently under general direction.

Physical Demands:

• Works in heated, ventilated shop.
• Has continuous exposure to heat and noise.
• Protective gloves, and sleeves are required for sustained periods.Also, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe footwear are required constantly.
• Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
