Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Shop Operator for the first shift in Broken Arrow, OK. This role involves assembling and repairing pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors used in oil and gas capture processes, while strictly following safety rules and work instructions.

You will work with hands and power tools, maintain a clean, safe environment, and contribute to continuous improvement in a team setting, with overtime and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair products such as pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors used in the oil and gas capturing process.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; notify supervisor of any issues in the manufacturing process that may impact safety.
• Follow defined work instructions and use hands and power tools to assemble components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Contribute to the department's continuous improvement culture.
• Work under limited supervision, usually within a team environment.

What You Will Do:

• Assemble and repair products such as pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors used in the oil and gas capturing process
• Follows safety rules and procedures; notifies supervisor of any issues in the manufacturing process that may impact safety
• Follows defined work instructions
• Use hands and power tools to assemble components in the manufacturing process
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

• This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
• 6 months experience in manufacturing environment
• Read, write, and speak English fluently
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and/or overhead cranes
• Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required
