Responsibilities

• Create production plans and schedules to meet targets.

• Document and report production and personnel data as required.
• Identify areas to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Stay up to date with new processes and equipment.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor 2nd Shift, full-time, Temp-to-hire to join a manufacturing and packaging operations team in Monroe Township, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making sure the Company meets its production targets and operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating production plans and schedules, determining production goals, and ensuring the team has the resources to meet production targets.
• Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
• Trains employees in company policies and procedures, and in the proper and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising production staff, including staffing needs and ensuring that the team has the skills and resources they need to succeed.
• Documents and reports production and personnel data as required.
• Identify areas for improvement to continually optimize the production process to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• Stays up to date on new processes, equipment, and industry practices,

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Familiarity with industry - standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Demonstrate strong management skills, drive, and a willingness to "roll up their sleeves" to get the job done.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Effective team-building skills, proven ability to deliver results, strong ability to multitask and prioritize
• Effective PC skills required (Microsoft Office)

Schedule

• 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
