About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Production Supervisor for our metal fabrication facility. The role involves managing the production workforce, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and timely shipment of orders, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring optimal scheduling and minimal downtime.

Shift: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily production activities to meet or exceed goals and customer requirements.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Monitor workforce productivity and allocate resources effectively.
• Schedule shifts, manage labor resources, and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and feedback.
• Foster a safety culture, implement safety procedures, and ensure training and compliance.
• Investigate safety incidents and address production discrepancies.
• Ensure quality control standards are met.
• Address production issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with shipping and logistics for timely order fulfillment.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production metrics and labor management.
• Proven leadership skills and knowledge of safety and quality assurance practices.
