Now Hiring: Production Supervisor - Nights

Location: Adell, WI

Schedule: Full-Time, 223 schedule, 5:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 based on experience

Position Summary

A manufacturing facility in Adell, WI is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead production operations and ensure the consistent manufacture of high-quality finished products. This role will supervise all shift personnel, maintain production efficiency, and drive safety, quality, and operational standards across the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all process areas to meet production schedules and quality specifications
  • Collaborate with operators to optimize raw material and rework usage
  • Monitor and evaluate product characteristics (e.g., specs, grits, density, moisture) on an hourly basis
  • Implement and enforce safety programs and regulatory compliance
  • Lead and develop production staff, driving a high-performance culture
  • Communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to the team daily
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory and production reporting
  • Coordinate with Production Manager for planning, inventory control, and recordkeeping
  • Partner with maintenance for equipment repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Maintain high sanitation standards and a clean, orderly plant environment
  • Provide nightly production reports and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Support compliance with all company, state, and federal safety policies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment (dairy processing experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production goals
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and production software

Education Requirements

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; frequent lifting or carrying of up to 30 lbs
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach; occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, or work at heights
  • Must have full range of vision including color, depth perception, and focus

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing setting with regular exposure to noise, dust, odors, and variable temperatures
  • Frequent movement and physical activity required throughout the shift
