Summary

Directs the activities of the Machine Support group. Responsible for maintaining production schedules and ensuring quality standards are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to:

• Leadership and Management: Recruit, interview, hire, coach, and retain Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs. Monitor team turnover and implement improvements. Create and validate training curricula. Develop succession plans.
• Performance Management: Set measurable goals, provide feedback, evaluate staff, and drive continuous improvement in operational metrics.
• Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the department, encourage input, and adapt communication styles.

Technical Management Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance programs, plan technical activities, manage reports, supervise line moves and builds, schedule vendor activities, and ensure procedures are efficient.
• Lead initiatives for process improvement and ensure safety and security compliance.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, with at least three years of maintenance management experience or equivalent. Hands-on knowledge of Surface Mount Technologies (SMT), process optimization, SPC, DFM, DFT, Demand Flow Technology, and DOE methodologies. Knowledge of engineering disciplines related to surface mount and final assembly.
