Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership and Management Responsibilities

Recruitment and Retention:

• Recruit, interview, and hire Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs.
• Communicate criteria to recruiters for candidate selection.
• Coach staff in interviewing and hiring processes.
• Monitor team member turnover and implement improvements.

Employee and Team Development:

• Identify individual and team strengths and development needs.
• Create and validate training curricula.
• Coach and mentor staff to deliver excellence.
• Create and manage succession plans.

Performance Management:

• Establish measurable goals for individuals and teams.
• Gather ongoing feedback and provide coaching.
• Perform evaluations professionally and timely.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational metrics.
• Coordinate activities of large teams during crises.
• Manage recognition and rewards fairly.

Communication:

• Provide forums for idea exchange.
• Organize clear verbal and written communication.
• Encourage input and adapt communication styles.

Technical Management Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance programs and planning.
• Develop and maintain reports and records.
• Supervise line moves and equipment updates.
• Schedule vendor activities.

• Lead by example and utilize engineering support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, with three years of maintenance management experience, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with SMT and Thru-hole equipment, process optimization, SPC, DFM, DFT, Demand Flow, DOE methodologies.
• Knowledge of engineering disciplines related to surface mount and final assembly.
