Job summary

Jacobs Management Group has a client in the Deerfield, IL area seeking a Production Supervisor for the first shift in a highly regulated, aseptic manufacturing environment. This hands-on role oversees staffing, delegation, and cross-shift coordination on the floor.

The position leads a team of production staff, coordinates weekend setup and is available for weekend coordination as needed. It also requires coaching, training, and developing staff while collaborating with Quality on investigations

Qualifications

• Manufacturing supervisory or team lead background, ideally leading a team of 30 or more.
• Comfortable in a regulated, aseptic manufacturing environment.
• Open to weekend availability; comfortable with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead first shift operations while staying in sync with 2nd and 3rd shift leads.
• Coordinate weekend setup work and remain available for weekend coordination as needed.
• Run short interval meetings, and coach, train, and develop production staff.
• Collaborate with Quality on investigations, and delegate work to keep the floor running smoothly.

My client, a medical device manufacturer in the Deerfield, IL area, is seeking a first shift Production Supervisor for a highly regulated, aseptic manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is mostly floor-based, with real ownership over staffing, delegation, and cross-shift coordination.
