Job summary

Jobot is seeking a motivated 1st Shift Production Supervisor for a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment. Lead a high-performing team, drive safety, quality, and output goals, and mentor staff while partnering with other departments for smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment (required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a hands-on leadership style.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage resources to achieve results.
• Comfortable with basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in plastics or molding operations is a plus.

• Assign tasks and responsibilities based on team members’ strengths while promoting growth opportunities.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and recognize achievements.
• Encourage open communication within the team and serve as the link to upper management.
• Oversee daily production activities and ensure adherence to organizational processes and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide creative solutions to meet production targets.
• Partner with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration across shifts.
