Job description

The Judge Group is in search of a Production Supervisor to join a growing Precision Machining Manufacturer in the Carol Stream area.

The Production Supervisor will lead the CNC production department. Working both with management and shop personnel, the supervisor will draw on their years of experience to help solve problems related to machine scheduling, conflict resolution and workforce development.

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who is comfortable with taking ownership of projects and being accountable for results. The successful candidate will have a background with CNC lathes and able to understand our parts and processes. Advanced machining skills are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Review operator efficiencies
• Investigate low efficiencies
• Visual inspection of parts
• Attend supervisor meetings and production meetings on needed basis
• Communicate problems with management and human resources

Qualifications:

• Must have CNC/Machine Turning experience
• Previous Manufacturing or Machine Shop Supervisory experience
