Position: Production Supervisor

Location: IKO Glass Fiber Inc., Chester, SC

Department: Production

Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain safety standards, lead safety initiatives, and exemplify safety in all actions.
• Lead employees to meet safety, quality, morale, and housekeeping goals; manage personnel policies.
• Foster positive employee relations, provide coaching, and resolve issues through established performance processes.
• Enforce policies, manage performance measures, and report progress to management.
• Manage department priorities, handle exceptions, and notify relevant personnel.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and complete required reports timely.
• Staff according to established efficiency levels, recommend changes, and oversee team scheduling.
• Coordinate training and development, conduct performance reviews, and handle hiring and onboarding.
• Perform other duties as required.

Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma required; minimum of eight years relevant supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to give clear, simple instructions.

Work Authorization & Travel

• Moderate travel required.
