Shift: Candidate will need to be open to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. This position will rotate. Candidate will be given a heads-up of the rotation.

1st shift: 6am-2:30pm

2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm

3rd shift: 10pm-6:30am

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team to develop business processes, manage production operations, and foster teamwork and cooperation. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn new skills and influence manufacturing processes supporting the transition to electric and autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Read and respond to the manufacturing daily plan in real-time.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Manage change and navigate ambiguity effectively.
• Drive accountability through people and processes, including difficult conversations in a unionized environment.
• Work effectively with all levels of the organization, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Apply high analytical skills to solve complex problems.

Required Qualifications:

• At least one year of supervisory experience or five months as an internal GM per diem group leader.
• Experience managing, coordinating, and leading people in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and manage conflict.
• Willingness to work weekends and rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP).
• Proficiency in Throughput Improvement Process (TIP).
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Experience supervising union employees.
• Supply Chain or Quality experience.
• Experience implementing Built-in-Quality Initiatives.
• Red X & DFSS Certification.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of timekeeping systems.
