Job summary

InDepth Engineering Solutions, LLC in Toledo, OH is seeking a production supervisor to lead unionized teams in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting. You will ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets while managing manpower, training staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires automotive manufacturing experience, shift flexibility, and strong communication across all levels of the plant. Union exposure and Lean/WCM familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Automotive manufacturing experience is required.
  • High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Union and Lean/WCM experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Must be able to work 1st & 2nd shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work ANY shift and overtime as required.
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required.
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must have worked in an Automotive environment previously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • 2 or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
  • Proficiency Using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
