TAPP Workforce Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor for our metal fabrication operations in Terrell, Texas. You will own daily production outcomes, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining cost discipline on the floor.

The role requires coaching a team of hourly workers, partnering with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance, and driving continuous improvement with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree a plus.
• Minimum three years of manufacturing experience.
• Direct experience supervising hourly production employees.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge expected.
• Experience with SAP or production reporting systems is a plus.

Production Supervisor – Metal Fabrication Manufacturing

This is a floor leadership role for someone who wants ownership, not oversight from a distance. You'll be the person production runs through — accountable for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, with the authority to make real decisions in the moment.

It's a high-volume, high-mix metal fabrication environment, which means no two days look the same. You'll work directly with plant leadership and partner across Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to keep operations moving, while driving continuous improvement initiatives that actually get implemented.

This is also a people-development role. You'll train, coach, and manage a team of hourly production employees, with real input into their growth and performance — not just their schedules.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage attendance, scheduling, and shift coverage for your team.
• Lead performance conversations and provide input on development and discipline.
• Keep production reporting and documentation accurate and current.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus.
• Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience.
• Direct experience supervising hourly production employees.
• Comfort operating in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience with production reporting systems; SAP experience a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Compensation & Work Model:

Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the screening process. This is an onsite role based on the production floor.

Based in Terrell, Texas.
