Job summary

Unknown in Metro Detroit area is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the production floor, develop employees and ensure safety, quality and output goals are met.

This hands-on leadership role involves coordinating staffing, monitoring performance, and collaborating with Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Job description

I’m working with an established manufacturing organization in the Metro Detroit area that is looking to add an experienced Production Supervisor to its operations team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, developing employees and helping a manufacturing operation consistently hit its safety, quality and production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support production employees during the assigned shift

What We’re Looking For

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong people leadership skills and the ability to hold teams accountable
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Good problem-solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work effectively across Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or technical training is a plus

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site 2nd shift position. Some overtime may be required based on production needs.
