Job Summary

The production supervisor is responsible for overseeing spice manufacturing at Elite Spice and ensuring all spices processed meet food safety and quality requirements. The production supervisor will enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure production operators maintain a sanitary work environment.

Essential Duties

• Monitor day-to-day production operations and workload allocation.
• Be present on the production floor and available for employees to ask questions and report problems or concerns.
• Monitor employee productivity and performance; provide feedback and coaching.
• Train, evaluate, and discipline department employees.
• Verify department paperwork for accuracy and sign off on documentation.
• Communicate relevant information during shift hand-offs.
• Review and resolve department complaints.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Enforce and comply with all company policies, procedures, safety, and food safety guidelines.
