Description

Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Shanghai Shenda Co., Ltd., and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage.

Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products, and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim, and wheel arch liners. This is a 2nd shift position; 2nd shift hours are 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM.

The Supervisor will be responsible for:

1. Supervision of hourly employees, both skilled and unskilled, and scheduling of labor
2. Ensuring safety, quality, housekeeping, and production activities and objectives are met
3. Ensuring all equipment and materials necessary for effective and safe job performance are available
4. Responsibilities include quality, production, safety, cost control, and employee relations
5. Performing any additional reasonable requests deemed necessary by management

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience:

• Requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a union environment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Working knowledge of a unionized workforce desired
• Able to work well in a team environment
• High sense of urgency
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication
