Job Details:
  • Position Title: Production Supervisor
  • Reports to: Senior Production Manager
  • Location: Zeeland, MI

Tyson Foods is hiring immediately for a Production Supervisor role at our Zeeland Plant. This position involves maintaining high production, quality, and yields, ensuring safety, managing staffing, and overseeing the production process.

Responsibilities:
  1. Build and lead a team through hiring, training, and counseling.
  2. Ensure fulfillment of customer orders, proper record keeping, and inventory management.
  3. Staff workstations before production start-up.
  4. Ensure machinery performance and USDA inspection compliance.
  5. Promote safety through daily practices and safety meetings.
  6. Collaborate with other supervisors to solve operational issues.
  7. Educate staff on quality standards.
  8. Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of management/supervision experience or six months as a Tyson Line Lead.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of food industry processes, equipment, and financial analysis.
  • Must reside in the United States; no sponsorship available.
