Job Summary:

Judge Direct Placement seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily production in Scranton, PA. This role ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality production while meeting schedules and company standards. The supervisor will manage production teams, optimize processes, and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and develop production staff, assigning tasks and ensuring SOP adherence.
• Monitor production for efficiency, identify improvements, and meet targets.
• Ensure product quality through inspections and adherence to quality control.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with production scheduling to meet demand and optimize resources.
• Monitor inventory levels in the production area.
• Oversee equipment operation and coordinate maintenance.
• Collect and report production data and metrics.
• Resolve production issues effectively.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster communication within the team and across departments.
• Assist with training new employees.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree preferred, not required. High School Diploma at minimum.
• 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety principles (e.g., GMPs).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read production schedules.
