Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical/assembly drawings.
• Mechanical and electrical or electronic experience.

Responsibilities

Spang Power Electronics, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Production Supervisor based in Sandy Lake, PA. This position will be responsible for maintaining departmental manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Additional responsibilities include identifying opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs and improving efficiency through employee training. As a supervisor, you will direct hourly employees; coordinate, document, and maintain job safety and training programs; ensure adherence to standard work practices; foster strong employee relations and communication; and coach, counsel, and evaluate employees to support performance and attendance.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM discipline. 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience is required, preferably in a union environment. Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical and assembly drawings is essential. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical or electronic experience.
